Christmas at the Farm – 2025

Show Information – November 7 & 8 (Set Up Nov. 7, 8am)

Christmas at the Farm (CATF) is hosted and operated by Gwen & Kent Meyer, Meyer’s Tails Up Farm/Meyer’s Canine Colony. The show is held on the property of Meyer’s Tail’s Up Farm at 5390 Irene Road, Belvidere, IL., both indoor and outdoor spaces.

The event is a 1 ½ day juried event, with vendors selected based on the goods they have to offer, flair for display as well as pleasant personalities. Experience isn’t necessary, however friendliness is.  Only vintage, repurposed, handmade items and new seasonal gift products are allowed. Market items will be subject to the show personnel’s discretion.  All items should be creatively displayed.

This show is not a typical flea market type. This is truly a “Christmas Market” event and we are searching for current looks and giftware with a WOW factor. Vendors are set up in their own individual booths/tent spaces and are responsible for their own check-out and cashiering, sales tax collection and tax payment to the State of Illinois.

Admission to Event
The Tinsel Ticket VIP Shopping Hour is Friday from 4pm to 5pm. The $28 ticket is sold online and a limited # are available. The gate for General admission opens at 5 pm and the cost is $7/13 years and up. Children 12 and under are free. A portion of show proceeds is donated to a local charity. Vendors are asked to donate a coupon and/or sample for the Tinsel Ticket bags.

Set Up & Tear Down
Set-Up:  Friday, November 7 at 8am with no exceptions unless authorized by show personnel. You will be assigned a specific load in location/door/gate #. Vendors inside our large tents or inside building are NOT allowed to use EZ Up pop up tents or tent frames. We have a limited # of outdoor spaces for vendor-owned EZ-Up tents. Vendors provide their own tables. Folding tables must be fully skirted to the floor. Empty packing boxes, tubs, etc. must be hidden from view or left in your trailer. No FRESH GREENS of any sort, hay or straw inside the main building. If using paper shred, please be prepared to remove all of it when you leave.

Tear-Down: Saturday immediately following the completion of event.  No early tear down. All empty boxes, cartons, broken furniture, etc. must be taken home with you. On-site dumpster is for Meyer’s use only. Indoor booths must be broom swept before leaving. Outdoor spaces must be picked up. Do not leave hay/straw or paper shred on the ground.

Overnight Security
The building is locked during the night, and the tent sides are secured. There is Meyer’s staff who live on site to watch over the show grounds.  However, if outside, take precautions to protect your items/valuables from wind, weather and/or animals.  Tent walls are encouraged during evening hours. The location is very rural, so wild animals are a given. Don’t leave treats or food of any kind inside your tents at night.

Vendor Parking
You will be allowed to park your trailer and car within the show site during the day, but in an assigned location. Vendor vehicles and trailers must be moved and parked by 3:00 on Friday, and by 9:00am on Saturday.
